Digging these up from 2010’s archive. This quite possibly could be an on-going project, although I’ve put it to bay for a year now. I’m completely in love with this sea, algae green color, it’s my “if the sensation of eating macaroni and cheese on a rainy day were translated into color”; ie. ultimate comfort color.
These photos were realised with the aid of a dear friend and skilled photographer Justine Liv Olausson (justinelivolausson.com).
As many of these gals, photographed above, are artists themselves I’d like to follow by linking to their sites: photographer - Maria GarciaSainz Creel, photographer - Taylor Rae Dubé

Pempelijärvi, Sweden. Late April 2010
My dad was born here and I go back as often as I can. After my grandmother -the crossword champion of northern Sweden- passed away in the fall of 2008 there is but one villager left. Above the arctic circle and miles and miles away from ‘it all’, this is my little nest of comfort.
